REFLECTION

This week is the final week of semester 6 and I praised to Allah that I can survive untill here. the journey of being a degree student for 3 years are not easy, I have been a student at Sultan Idris Education University for 6 semester, and over the course of my stay I have grown and learned more that I thought possible. There was ups and down during my journey but my spirit still driving me to complete my degree.

Now I am writing this reflection about the experience of studying Information Communication and Technology in Science (SSI 3013) as one of my major course. This course made me realize that I have to learn a lot about what is Technology in our world. In this course I have learnt about issues and challenges in integrating ICT in school which is smart school that have been implemented by our government, what is data logging and their uses, impact to student and teacher in teaching and learning process, using STELLA software to enhance interesting technique to be use in school, using simulations, making a short video and editing pictures using paint. 

Throughout this course, I have greatly sharpened my critical analysis skills in using technology. In this course I have learned to use technology as well, this helped me develop a deeper understanding to use other software to create a meaningful teaching and learning process when I become a teacher in future. Using technology in teaching and learning process had always been a challenging for old teachers, because they prefer to use traditional method which is 'chalk and talk'. This course is very useful for future teachers to change their thinking towards the use of technology. I got a chance to learn how to use STELLA and Data Logger that I never use before. The use of STELLA software in education is desirable, as it functions as a tool for teachers to motivate students. If it is applied correctly, using ICT in education has the positive impact. I also learned about Data Logger, where it is a device for teacher to do an experiment in Science, Chemistry, Biology and Physics subject. Lastly, I would like to say a big thank you goes to my lecturer En. Azmi bin Ibrahim for his helps and teaching me in completing this task by providing many knowledge and advice throughout this semester.
